Background of the school

Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) Management and SGA Education department had done series of meetings with Deputy Commissioner Sanghar& Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and also took extra efforts to initiate project in Shahpur chakar. SGA efforts came true and a project was approved by District Social Welfare Committee underPetroleum Concession fund (PCA) and Project Agreement was made among SGA, PPL& Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Office.

Construction work was started in September 2015 and completed in March 2018. Total cost of the project is 12,964,093/ PKR excluding operational cost. Land for School building has been donated by one of the Local community members of Shahpur chakar. Operational cost including appointing Civil Engineer at site, Project monitoring and management visits costs was spent by SGA.

 Establishment of the School

RTS Shahpur Chakar was established on 02 August 2021 .The school was started from pre-primary level, and in the beginning total 102 students were enrolled ,in which two teachers and a head teacher have been appointed. Even though this newly constructed school having less resource, Roshan Tara School Shahpur Chakar is providing quality education in very nominal fee. Great efforts are still required to make it quality education for higher secondary school in future.
